Emergency and Weather Alert System Test – Friday, November 7 at 11:30 a.m.

Posted Date: 11/05/25 (10:22 AM)

Dear Toppenish Families and Caregivers,

As we get ready for winter weather, we want to make sure every family can receive important alerts quickly and reliably.

This Friday, November 7 at 11:30 a.m., Toppenish School District will conduct a test of our emergency and weather alert system through ParentSquare.

ParentSquare is the tool we use to send out urgent messages, including:

  • School delays and closures due to weather

  • Emergency notifications

  • Districtwide updates that families need to know right away

What You Need to Know

  • The test message will come through ParentSquare at 11:30 a.m. on Friday.

  • If you receive the test message, no action is needed. You’re all set!

  • If you DO NOT receive the test message, please follow these steps:

    1. Log in to your ParentSquare account to make sure your contact information is correct.

    2. If your contact information needs to be updated, please do one of the following:

      • Contact your child’s school to update your information, or

      • Log in to your Qmlativ Family Access account and make updates directly.

    3. If your contact information is correct but you still didn’t receive the message, return to this announcement and click the following link to let us know. Our team will work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Click this link: https://forms.gle/EpK9KxanBVQEeNmTA

ParentSquare is the fastest way to get information about school delays, closures, and emergencies. After ParentSquare alerts are sent, we will also post updates to the district website, social media pages, and notify local media outlets.

We encourage all parents and caregivers in each household to download the ParentSquare mobile app so you can receive alerts instantly in your preferred language. You can download this free app in the Google Play or Apple App Store.

Thank you for helping us make sure every family stays connected, informed, and prepared this winter season!

Stay safe and warm, Wildcats!
