Garfield PTO

The Garfield PTO is a small group of parents and teachers who meet regularly to volunteer their time and talents to better Garfield Elementary School.  The Garfield PTO meets once a month at 5:30 pm in the library to discuss ways they can have a positive impact on the school and how to raise the funds to do so.  PTO is regularly involved in popcorn sales, candy grams, staff appreciation events, meals for staff during conferences and many other ways we can assist the school.

The Purpose of the PTO is to enhance and support the educational experience at Garfield Elementary, to develop a closer connection between school and home by encouraging parental involvement, and to improve the environment at Garfield Elementary through volunteer and financial support.

The Garfield PTO always invites new parents/guardians to join us at our meetings and every family with a student at Garfield is automatically a voting member of our PTO with a say in what happens at our school.  There are no membership dues.

For more information on joining our PTO please attend the next meeting or contact PTO President Angela Stiner by leaving a message in the school office.
